The theme for the current issue of the excellent Upon Paper is colour, and in it Paul Hetherington interviews Peter Saville about his colour alphabet.

It's 30 years since the release of Blue Monday this month, so you'll have been reading and hearing a lot about it, but have you ever wanted to know more about the colour code along the edge of the 12" release?

Factory connoisseurs will know all about the code – in fact, I was once told by Peter Saville that he'd received a note from a fan pointing out a spelling mistake in the colours the day after one release – but this, as with any interview with Saville is an interesting and delightful read.
