Case Study / Tokyo

Oct 14 2011

Our friends and distributors in Japan - Razy Works -  have set up 'Case Study' in the Tokyo Conran store this week. Reijin and the rest of the polite and creative folk at Razy Works like to hold product exhibition/showcases in stores across Japan - temporary, exciting, innovative and special events with carefully curated products, set in imaginative spaces - specially constructed for the shows.

These pictures give a good idea of the attention to detail and we're thrilled to have our David Shrigley Salt and Pepper Shakers featured in the collection.

Heres a brilliant short film about Kevin Cummins and his iconic photographs of Joy Division. As well as being a visual treat with a brilliant soundtrack, it's about the photographs and how they became integral to how we think of the band - and through the interviews with Bernard Sumner, Stephen Morris, Paul Morley and Natalie Curtis, we get an insight into the band, the times and Manchester.

We've made a special box set featuring some of the most iconic and interesting images from the collection - presented in hand finished box, made in Manchester - which you can see and buy here
