3 Notebooks, 3 Thinkers.

The history of philosophy is filled with some fascinating 'schools of thought' dedicated to tackling life's big problems in distinctive ways. We're especially keen on The Stoics (who know how to suffer), The Pessimists (who know how to sigh) and The Existentialists (who know about angst).

In their honour, we've created exquisite notebooks set, each dedicated to a philosophical School of Thought. Each notebook carries an introduction to a great thinker on the inside front page, his name beautifully printed on the cover (we especially like Seneca and Heidegger) - and otherwise empty pages for your own projects.

Each paper banded set contains 3 notebooks (one each of plain, grid and lined paper) 125 x 178mm | 64pp

The Existentialists :  Kierkegaard, Heidegger, Sartre

The Existentialists invented the word angst and have much to say about the troubles and aspirations of the modern soul. Their starting point is that traditional societies used to tell you how to live but that nowadays, we have to make it all up for ourselves. This is both exhilarating and a terrible burden. The Existentialists talk a lot about freedom and anxiety. They are especially concerned with how we can cope with the pressure to make the right choice in our careers and in our romantic lives. The Existentialists help us to be compassionate observers of ourselves.
